Important Session Information:


This session is being held via ZOOM.

All LEAs (local educational agencies, which includes ISDs and Open-Enrollment Charter Schools) must comply with the Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR), which are cross-cutting grant management requirements applicable to the administration of all federal education grants. Uniform Guidance 2 CFR Part 200 (a.k.a. UGG) is part of EDGAR.

This session is applicable to program administrators and fiscal staff responsible for the administration of federal education grants, including ESSER, ESSA, IDEA-B, Perkins, etc.

This session is intended to be an extension of the TEA EDGAR session to be offered at ESC-20 on March 25th, 2024.  Attendees need not have attended to participate in this webinar, but attendance at the TEA session is highly encouraged.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will gain a general understanding of the grant administrative regulations for the administration of federal education awards and how to apply these requirements to build their own grant manual.

Participants may access the most current EDGAR regulations, including Uniform Guidance 2 CFR Part 200, if desired, at https://www2.ed.gov/policy/fund/reg/edgarReg/edgar.html

Credit Hours:
