This session will provide each participant an intensive one-day foundational overview, as well as, knowledge, materials, and resources needed to begin to build a strong foundation for implementation of a Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework with fidelity based on a data-driven process. This framework will enhance the adoption and implementation of a continuum of evidence-based practices and interventions to achieve academically and behaviorally important outcomes for all students. Interconnected Systems Framework (ISF) will be introduced. There will be an opportunity to asynchronously review resources provided and follow-up coaching as needed.
This session will lead into a series of follow-up intensives that will focus on Partnering with Families and Social and Personal Competencies, Universal Examples of PBIS Implementation and Restorative Practices, Targeted PBIS Implementation and Trauma Sensitive Schools, and Intensive PBIS Implementation. It is highly recommended that you attend this session prior to the follow-up sessions.
