Virtual: November Innovate, Educate, Activate: Special Education Autism Research in Action

ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance for families and professionals working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a variety of school settings.

Important Session Information:

Join us for a dynamic and interactive virtual session where we'll delve into the high-quality journal articles and research findings in the field of autism. Over the course of three hours, participants will explore cutting-edge research and evidence-based practices that can be directly translated into their classrooms to enhance student learning and success.

Through engaging discussions, hands-on activities, and practical examples, educators will gain valuable insights into innovative strategies for supporting students with diverse learning needs of students with autism.

November topic introduced and discussed: Functional Communication Training in the Classroom

This session will take place in the form of a Zoom session. Participants must have a desktop, laptop or Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection. Active participation of various forms will be required during the session in order to obtain course credit. You will receive a confirmation email from Connect20.
