GT Day 3 - Curriculum and Instruction for G/T Students



The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


Participants will analyze the philosophy of differentiation as applicable to curriculum content. Participants will discuss creative thinking and problem-solving, higher order thinking skills, critical thinking skills, depth and complexity and flexible pacing.

Fees: $0 G/T Coop $125 Non-Coop

This is a face to face session at ESC-20

This Training can take the place of G/T Day 4 or 5 or a G/T 6 hour update if not previously taken.

Please bring charged technology to the session to interact with course materials.
