Attend this session developed by the TIER statewide initiative in collaboration with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to learn how to support student mental health within MTSS.
This pathway establishes the need for student mental health support and introduces four components for promoting mental health and well-being that can be integrated within MTSS. Participants learn the current context of student mental health, the relationship between student mental health and successful student outcomes, and important elements for supporting mental health for all students, staff members, and caregivers.
This session is appropriate for general education teachers, special education teachers, administrators, and individuals who engage in the work of Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports and supporting student mental health within MTSS.
