Are you looking for FREE staff training on proactive best practices to meet student needs and support student mental health with a trauma-informed approach within your MTSS Systems?
Attend this session developed by the TIER statewide initiative in collaboration with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to learn how to build a trauma-informed approach within MTSS.
In this pathway, participants gain a better understanding of how a trauma-informed approach can improve the learning environment and improve outcomes for all students. Participants explore the research on adverse childhood experiences, the definition of childhood trauma, stress and fear responses, attributes of a trauma-sensitive school, and trauma-informed care within MTSS.
This session is appropriate for general education teachers, special education teachers, administrators, and individuals who engage in the work of Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports and supporting student mental health within MTSS.
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with detailed information on accessing the live zoom session.
Participants will need access to an electronic device that will allow the use of Zoom. We ask that all participants plan to have their computer camera on and participate via the chat and breakout room features.
