The Child Find, Evaluation, and ARD Supports Network provides resources, courses/trainings, and recordings/videos that review federal regulations and state rules and provide guidance and best practices around the topics of child find, initial evaluation of students suspected of a disability (or reevaluation of a student with a disability), and admission, review, and dismissal (ARD) supports, including individualized education program (IEP) content and development. These resources are developed with educators in mind who are valiantly serving our students with disabilities. This is our mission and our why.
The intent of this training is to demonstrate how educators can use the resources provided by the Child Find, Evaluation, and ARD Supports Network and how district coordinators/specialists, administrators, and LEA SPED directors can encourage their LEA evaluation personnel, special education teachers, and educators to use the resources.
