Zoom Session - G/T Day 5/6 hour update - Defining Advanced Products/Performances for Effective Differentiation for G/T Students (Seguin ISD)-Open to All Districts



The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


Learn how to differentiate lessons for your G/T students by assigning products or performances. This course will give ideas for products and performances that can be completed in one class period or over several weeks, depending on what your goals are. The open-ended products or performances can engage G/T students in work that is interesting and creative.

This session will be a Zoom session from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM. There will be a product component that will be submitted to complete your 6 hour credit.

This Training can take the place of G/T Day 3, 4 or 5 or a G/T 6 hour update if not previously taken.

**This session is open to all Districts**
