Baby’s Day Out: Celebrating Babies and Toddlers With Sensory Impairments (Visually Impaired or Deafblind) and Their Families



ESC-20 provides Supplementary Services for the Visually Impaired (SSVI) in accordance with the comprehensive Regional Plan for Serving Students with Visual Impairments. Specialized training is offered and technical assistance is available upon request.
 


Important Session Information:


This session will provide activities focused on the sensory development of babies and toddlers with visual impairments and/or deafblindness (ages birth to 5, their families, and service providers). Children will rotate through stations participating in activities appropriate for sensory development. Parents/Guardians and teachers will experience direct instruction on activities to support the development and education of their infant or toddler with sensory impairment: visual impairment and/or deafblind.

Teachers and families must register on the Connect 20 website. Babies must be registered using a link sent upon notice of adult registration on Connect 20.
