Professional development for school counselors is aligned with the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs and supports work in the four service delivery components: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support.

Target Audience: PK-12 School Counselors and Social Workers

As leaders, advocates, and systemic change agents, school counselors and social workers are in a position to collaborate with stakeholders to create a school and community climate that embraces cultural diversity and promotes academic, career, and personal success. This session provides time for thoughtful self-reflection and discussion of bias and breaking barriers. You will receive an email from Connect20 confirming your registration; please be sure to check your spam/junk email. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please call Central Registration at 210-370-5671 for assistance Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. If you find you are unable to attend, please unenroll yourself in Connect20 so those on the waiting list may have an opportunity to attend.
