Professional development for school counselors is aligned with the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs and supports work in the four service delivery components: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support.

Target Audience: School Counselors

Join us for a fun day with Harmony Professional Learning as we discuss teaching students empathy. Participants will engage in a comprehensive exploration of strategies that promote intrapersonal and interpersonal effectiveness with an in-depth examination of the free Teaching Students Empathy module, which utilizes diverse methods to emphasize the cultivation and demonstration of empathy. This session will include an independent exploration of online resources alongside group discussion and practical exercises. Please bring a laptop or tablet with headphones.
