Know Your CLASS Series: Over and Over (Instructional Support-Quality of Feedback)



Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) provides assistance to districts in the successful development and implementation of a school readiness integration model of coordinated funding that brings school districts, Head Start programs and child care providers together in a mixed delivery model.  ESC-20 also provides leadership to ensure the effective regional implementation of appropriate instructional strategies in early childhood settings through technical assistance and professional development in the areas of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum and supports parents with Pre-Kindergarten information and eligibility criteria.

This session will focus on Quality of feedback is included in the instructional support domain. The observers are looking to see lots of back and forth conversations between teachers and students. Today we will identify ways to provide quality of feedback in all aspects of the day including morning meeting, transitions, whole group, and small group.
