Fingerprinting and Do Not Hire Registry Overview

Conducting background checks for new employees, substitutes and contractors is a process that requires constant attention and oversight. This session will review rules and statutes governing the fingerprinting process, the TEA upload process, and the importance of reviewing fingerprinting results and maintaining clearinghouse subscriptions with DPS. An overview of the Do Not Hire Registry will also be included.
