Important Session Information:
This one-day workshop will present some of the fundamental principles that are used in addressing problem behaviors exhibited by children with autism and related disorders. The emphasis of this presentation will be upon helping teachers or parents recognize the reasons behind their child’s problem behavior. Training will be provided on how to use information about the “function” of problem behavior to develop interventions to reduce those behaviors and increase adaptive ones.
