This Practicum and Career Preparation Teacher Training workshop is designed to meet the requirements of Texas Academic Code (19 TAC Chapter 231) requiring school districts to ensure that each Career Prep and Practicum teacher has completed "...appropriate training in state and federal requirements regarding work-based learning and safety...".
This enhanced, interactive training program will help participants understand and apply current rules and statue from Texas Education Code (TEC), the United States Department of Labor (DOL), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
