Important Session Information:


This session will analyze the final steps in the research process. Using the TEKS as a guide, this course will cover:

  • Differentiate between direct quotes and paraphrasing
  • Organize and display academic citations and use materials ethically
  • Teach students how to present their research clearly and persuasively
  • Explore strategies for incorporating visual aids (charts, graphs, multimedia) into presentations
  • Select creative modes of delivery that fits the rhetorical situation
  • Address common writing challenges
