Important Session Information:

This session is FREE to members of the Special Education Cooperative.

A truly comprehensive IEP requires a clear understanding of two distinct goal types: IEP Goals address a student's immediate academic and functional needs within the school setting, while Post-Secondary Transition Goals are designed to prepare students for life after graduation (college, career, independent living). This session will resolve the common confusion surrounding these goals. Participants will gain insight into the importance of integrating both perspectives and receive step-by-step instructions on compliant and effective documentation of both IEP and Post-Secondary goals within the student's plan.
