Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) provides assistance to districts in the successful development and implementation of a school readiness integration model of coordinated funding that brings school districts, Head Start programs and child care providers together in a mixed delivery model.  ESC-20 also provides leadership to ensure the effective regional implementation of appropriate instructional strategies in early childhood settings through technical assistance and professional development in the areas of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum and supports parents with Pre-Kindergarten information and eligibility criteria.

High Quality Pre-K Components require that districts post a Pre-K specific Family Engagement Plan to their district website. We will review the statute and share a template that includes all the required components, as well as a process for engaging stakeholders to assist in the development of a Family Engagement Plan.
