Are you a parent advisor to families who have babies who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing? Are you providing deaf education services to a local education agency (district or charter) that is within the boundaries the Education Service Center, Region 20 area? Would you like to have a safe and respectful place to ask questions, build your knowledge, improve your practices, and network with others in similar roles? If you answered "Yes!" to these questions, then this contact meeting is for you! We will meet twice a semester for an hour and a half each time to discuss topics of providing services to the 0-3 DHH population. Topics may include the role and responsibilities of the deaf education parent advisor, legal updates, and instructional strategies and supports - including technology, disability information, caseload management, and specific issues/discussions.
