Would you like to expand your knowledge on what STAAR supports are available to ALL students, with and without disabilities? Are you interested in the latest guidance documents essential for educators released by the Texas Education Agency (TEA), but have difficulty locating the resources you're looking for most?
The goal of this virtual 90-minute session is to familiarize educators with features and supports that increase the accessibility of classroom instruction and the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®) for all students.
Participants can expect a detailed walkthrough of key guidance documents including core components, review of general information outlining the updated accommodation policies, and discussions related to accessibility features that are available to any student who regularly benefits from use during instruction and testing.
This session is appropriate for educators who determine and implement testing accommodations for students.
Please be prepared to fully engage in discussion and collaborative activities with a device that has access to camera and chat features.
