Translate the TCMPC components into engaging and impactful classroom experiences!
Goals for Session:
- Provide practical tools and strategies for planning math lessons utilizing the Instructional Focus Document (IFD) as well as other components found in TEKS Resource System (TRS).
- Backwards planning for the Performance Assessments (PA) to determine students’ knowledge and skills needed for mastery.
- Session 4: Vertical Alignment Document to Link to next year’s preparation
Participants will:
- Gain a deep understanding of the components of the TEKS Resource System (TRS) found in TCMPC.
- Work collaboratively to develop sample lesson plans, explore resources, and discuss best practices for implementation.
Intended Audience:
- Instructional coaches, Math leads, and grade-level teachers.
