Target Audience: School Personnel
Educator well-being is essential for fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. In this trainer-of-trainers session, participants will first explore the foundations of educator wellness, including strategies for managing
stress, preventing burnout, and cultivating resilience through self-care and mindfulness practices.
The second half of the session will focus on trauma-informed classrooms, providing participants with the knowledge and tools to support students affected by trauma. Through interactive discussions and practical strategies, we will examine how to create safe, supportive, and healing-centered learning environments that promote student success.
As a trainer-of-trainers session, this experience will not only equip participants with valuable insights but also provide the resources and confidence needed to bring these concepts back to their schools and districts. Join us for a dynamic and informative training designed to empower educators in prioritizing wellness and implementing trauma-informed practices.
The instructors have been trained by the Mental Health Technology Transfer Center Network. The session will be presented by ESC 20 Project AWARE Consultant, Evelyn Crespo, and Behavioral Health Partnership Program Liaison, Brandalyn Haggerty, with The Center for Health Care Services.
