ASCENDER W-2 Processing (2025)



Information Systems Support provides administrative software and services and TSDS technical and support services  to Local Education Agencies (LEAs).  ASCENDER business and student software, hosting and disaster recovery services, training and site visits, and Texas Student Data Systems (TSDS) technical and support services for PEIMS, Early Childhood Data Systems (ECDS) and other TSDS collections are all part of the product offerings.

This session will take place in person. If you would like to attend virtually, please register for session # 112185.

This session is designed specifically for the staff members that will be responsible for preparing the W-2 forms, and create the benefit deduction codes.


This session will discuss the preparation & reconciliations needing to be completed prior to printing the W-2s. You will learn what reports to review and how to validate your data.


We will also review the processing of the W-2s and creating the extract file to upload to the IRS.

This session is a review of the process and is not intended to be a hands-on session.
