Important Session Information:

Looking for strategies that promote student independence, engagement, and deep mathematical thinking? This professional development session is grounded in High-Yield Routines by Ann McCoy, Joann Barnett, and Emily Combs—a practical guide to integrating effective, research-based routines into your daily instruction. Participants will explore how thoughtfully implemented routines can build conceptual understanding, strengthen procedural fluency, and support a culture of discourse in math classrooms.

In this session, educators will learn the purpose and structure of high-yield routines and how they support math standards, dive into specific routines, analyze how and when to use them effectively, examine classroom-ready examples and adapt routines for different grade levels and student needs.

Whether you're new to using routines or looking to refine your practice, this session will provide tools and inspiration to help make every math minute count.
