Gifted and Talented Students in Texas are afforded opportunities to receive a differentiated curriculum as per the G/T State Plan. In this session, we will explore ways to better differentiate for your students utilizing effective practices such as pre-assessments, curriculum compacting and some methods to scaffold instruction to better engage your learners. Come explore ways to better understand the state requirements for advanced thinking in your students' work and how to implement them in manners that will elevate the thinking of your scholars in new and meaningful ways.
NOTE: This session can count for a G/T Day 4, Day 5 or 6-Hour Update if not previously taken.
This session will be a Zoom session from 8:30 AM - 12 PM. There will be a product component that will be submitted to complete your 6 hour credit. You will be receiving a Zoom Pre-Registration Link. Please fill out with your District E-mail.
The documents and submissions will be through Google Classroom on the day of the session. It is highly recommended to have your personal Google Account ready in the event that you are not able to join with your District E-mail.
