ESC-20 provides professional development and technical assistance to support educators with implementation of the Science TEKS by analyzing data to enhance instructional practices to meet the needs of students, and provides targeted support to reach campus and district goals.

This professional development session will delve into how living science materials can serve as a springboard for student inquiry and literacy development in the classroom.

Learn how to guide observations, encourage scientific questioning, and utilize literary texts to deepen understanding and build strong reading and writing skills in a meaningful scientific context.

Intended Audience: Classroom teachers, Instructional coaches, and Teacher leaders.
