The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


Discover engaging strategies to support gifted learners in early grades. This session will focus on meaningful application of content and aligning activities with TEKS. Walk away with practical differentiation tools to enhance learning in your PK-2 classroom.

NOTE: This session can count for a G/T Day 4, Day 5 or 6-Hour Update if not previously taken.

This session is only for PK-2 teachers in SWISD and will take place in the Crossroads Cafeteria in Bldg 800.
