ASCENDER SIS Spring Boot Camp



The Texas Computer Cooperative (TCC) is a statewide cooperative of 19 Texas Education Service Centers (ESCs).  The TCC has been providing high quality, compliant, comprehensive business and student software and support to Texas LEAs for over 50 years.  The TCC product, ASCENDER, is used by more than 800 LEAs in Texas to empower LEAs to make informed decisions and engage stakeholders through powerful tools and applications.  The TCC operates only in Texas, serving Texas schools through Regional Education Service Centers.

  • Overview of the Wiki Resources

Scheduling/Grade Reporting: Course Set Up - Getting it Right from the Start

  • Learn how to build your district and campus master schedule courses correctly from the start. This session provides a detailed walkthrough of the setup process — from district course creation to campus-level scheduling. Participants will explore best practices, common pitfalls, and key configuration steps to ensure clean, accurate schedules that flow smoothly into future processes.

End-of-Year and Annual Student Data Rollover Essentials 

  • Walking through the critical, step-by-step process of the Annual Student Data Rollover (ASDR) to ensure clean data, correct student promotion, and a seamless transition to the new school year.

This session will require participants to bring or have the following:

  1. Your own laptop
  2. Test environment for practice during the session
