Texas Computer Cooperative (TCC)
ASCENDER BIS Summer Boot Camp



The Texas Computer Cooperative (TCC) is a statewide cooperative of 19 Texas Education Service Centers (ESCs).  The TCC has been providing high quality, compliant, comprehensive business and student software and support to Texas LEAs for over 50 years.  The TCC product, ASCENDER, is used by more than 800 LEAs in Texas to empower LEAs to make informed decisions and engage stakeholders through powerful tools and applications.  The TCC operates only in Texas, serving Texas schools through Regional Education Service Centers.

ASCENDER BIS New Consultant Spring Boot Camp
Two Day Session (8:30 AM - 3:45 PM)

EOY August Accruals

  • You'll learn to identify employees requiring accruals at the end of August and accurately calculate and record those amounts for financial reporting.

End of the Year Payroll Verification

  • This session will go through the necessary steps to ensure that processes have been done before the first payroll of the school year.

First Payroll of the School Year

  • This session will go through the necessary steps to process the first payroll of the school year.

Finance EOY Process

  • This session will go through how to close the current Fiscal Year and open the new Fiscal Year.

This session will require participants to bring or have the following:

  1. Your own laptop
  2. Test environment for practice during the session
