2025-2026 Corrective Action Plan Requirements:
This professional development session is designed for special education directors and focuses on the development of high-quality Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) in response to Texas Education Agency (TEA) monitoring activities. Participants will learn how to address areas of noncompliance under IDEA, Part B, and apply best practices to ensure plans are actionable, data-informed, and aligned with state expectations. The session will include real-world examples, templates, and collaborative planning time to support immediate implementation.
