Virtual: Understanding Dyslexia--What Parents Need to Know



ESC-20 provides regional leadership, technical assistance, and staff development to clients in the area of family engagement. ESC-20 also provides resources and training opportunities for parents and families of students served within federal programs, including, but not limited to, Title I, Title III, Special Education, and Head Start.

Important Session Information:


In this training, you will learn what dyslexia is and how to support your child if he/ she has dyslexia. We will explore the common risk factors for dyslexia as well as common misperceptions or myths about dyslexia. Participants will learn strategies to help support their student if he/she is at-risk for or identified.
