Virtual: The Power of Positive Parenting



ESC-20 provides regional leadership, technical assistance, and staff development to clients in the area of family engagement. ESC-20 also provides resources and training opportunities for parents and families of students served within federal programs, including, but not limited to, Title I, Title III, Special Education, and Head Start.

Important Session Information:


Parents will be introduced to the five key principles of positive parenting that form the basis of Triple P. These principles are:

• Ensuring a safe engaging environment.
• Creating a positive learning environment.
• Using assertive discipline.
• Having reasonable expectations.
• Looking after yourself as a parent.

Triple P Seminar 1 is for parents of children up to age 12.
