Virtual: Your Family's Military Transition Experience



ESC-20 provides regional leadership, technical assistance, and staff development to clients in the area of family engagement. ESC-20 also provides resources and training opportunities for parents and families of students served within federal programs, including, but not limited to, Title I, Title III, Special Education, and Head Start.

 

 

 



Family/Community Engagement

Important Session Information:


This two-hour course covers Sessions 3 and 4 of the Strong Families Strong Forces program.* Explore how children, like parents, form unique perceptions and emotions from shared life events. Learn how to create a safe space for your child to express their thoughts and experiences, fostering understanding and support within the family. Together, you’ll reflect on shared experiences, gain insight into different perspectives, and strengthen communication to navigate past, present, and future family challenges.

*Open to military families with children ages 0 to 17, including active-duty, reservist, National Guard, and veteran families.
