CTE Training for Admin - Deep Dive Program Expansion (3 of 4)



CTE instruction aims at developing foundational skills, core workplace competencies, and specific skill competencies in various occupational areas. Internships, practicums, cooperative education, school-based enterprises, dual enrollment programs, and apprenticeships are a few venues that deliver CTE by providing meaningful opportunities for leaners to apply their academic and technical skills. We serve the career and education community through targeted support for CTE compliance, program development and implementation with rigor and relevancy; bridging with postsecondary education and industry partners to build a global workforce, quality education programs and 21st century learners.

Important Session Information:


Program Expansion will equip CTE leaders with resources and best practices to inform CTE program growth, including expanding CTE programs to middle school and high school and introducing new Programs of Study. This module provides strategies for messaging and communications, balancing industry demand and student interest, and addressing the challenges of expanding programs in rural, suburban and urban LEAs.
