Texas Computer Cooperative (TCC)
ASCENDER SIS Summer Boot Camp



The Texas Computer Cooperative (TCC) is a statewide cooperative of 19 Texas Education Service Centers (ESCs).  The TCC has been providing high quality, compliant, comprehensive business and student software and support to Texas LEAs for over 50 years.  The TCC product, ASCENDER, is used by more than 800 LEAs in Texas to empower LEAs to make informed decisions and engage stakeholders through powerful tools and applications.  The TCC operates only in Texas, serving Texas schools through Regional Education Service Centers.

Two Day Session (8:30 AM - 3:45 PM)

Grade Reporting Foundations: Tables & Options

  • You’ll learn where important setup occurs and how to guide others in supporting districts during grade reporting setup.

TeacherPortal (Grades)

  • This session focuses on the grade-related tools in TeacherPortal. You’ll learn how teachers enter and manage grades and gain the skills to confidently support and train teachers on the grade workflows in the portal.

IPRs & Report Card Processes

  • Explore the IPR and Report Card processes so you can confidently guide and support districts.

GPA Rank &  Historical Grade Averaging for Beginners 

  • Understand how GPA Rank is calculated and how to troubleshoot or recalculate historical grade averages.

This session will require participants to bring or have the following:

  1. Your own laptop
  2. Test environment for practice during the session
