Important Session Information:

This 3-hour asynchronous course provides an engaging introduction to the highly effective "Talk, Read, Talk, Write" (TRTW) instructional strategy. Designed for educators across all disciplines and grade levels, this course will equip you with the foundational understanding and practical tools to implement TRTW in your own classroom. Through a series of self-paced modules, you will explore the research-backed benefits of TRTW, learn how each phase (Talk, Read, Talk, Write) contributes to deeper comprehension and critical thinking, and gain actionable strategies for planning and facilitating TRTW lessons. By the end of this course, you will be prepared to leverage TRTW to enhance student discussion, improve reading comprehension, and cultivate more sophisticated written responses.
