Important Session Information:

Join us for a high-energy, hands-on workshop designed to strengthen your understanding and instruction of fractions across the elementary grades! In this Fraction Boot Camp, teachers and Instructional Coaches in Grades 1–5 will explore the progression of fraction concepts—from early partitioning and fair shares in 1st grade to comparing, adding, and multiplying fractions by 5th grade.

Through interactive activities, visual models, and student-centered strategies, you'll learn how to build conceptual understanding before moving to procedures. Discover where common student misconceptions arise and how to address them effectively with tools like number lines, area models, and manipulatives.

Whether you're just getting started with fractions or looking to deepen your math instruction, this session will equip you with practical resources and a clear roadmap to help every student succeed in this critical domain.
