Important Session Information:


Participants will learn about the causes and effects of secondary trauma (also known as vicarious trauma or compassion fatigue) within themselves and their classroom environments. This session will explore educators experiences with secondary trauma and how absorbing and internalizing the emotional impact of their students' primary traumas can inadvertently affect the classroom dynamic and student outcomes. 

This session will take place in the form of a Zoom session. Participants must have a desktop, laptop or Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection. Active participation of various forms will be required during the session to obtain course credit. You will receive a confirmation email from Connect20.
