USDA Foods for Schools: Ordering for Success Training Program, including WBSCM



ESC-20, Food and Nutrition Services provide training and technical assistance to local contracting entities in the operation and administration of Child Nutrition.
 


Important Session Information:


This session guides the participant through the foundational elements of successfully operating the Food Distribution Program within a School Food Authority. Guides the participant through requirements, process, advantages, and challenges of operating the DoD Fresh Program within a School Food Authority. This session guides the participant through the recommended steps of forecasting to successful order USDA Foods. This session will also guide participants through the Entitlement/Bonus Summary and Entitlement/Bonus Detail Reports which include beginning entitlement balance, remaining entitlement balance, and bonuses. This session will guide participants through best practices for tracking and monitoring usage of USDA Foods and its importance for USDA Reconciliation auditing. WBSCM: This session guides the participant through the process for entering. modifying, and canceling  shipment receipts in WBSCM for Direct Ship Recipient Agencies.
