Learning Off Site: STAAR Review Activities



ESC-20 provides professional development and technical assistance to support educators with implementation of the Mathematics TEKS by analyzing data to enhance instructional practices to meet the needs of students, and provides targeted support to reach campus and district goals.

This session will be held offsite at The DoSeum.

This interactive professional development session is designed to equip 3rd-5th grade educators with practical tools, strategies, and insights to effectively prepare students for the STAAR assessment. Focused on content mastery and question analyzation, this training emphasizes data-driven instruction, alignment with the TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) and engaging classroom practices that build student confidence and academic success.

Teachers will:

Analyze STAAR blueprints and released items to identify key content areas and question formats.

Explore high-impact instructional strategies that promote student understanding and retention.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop lesson plans and review activities aligned with STAAR expectations.
