This course will dive into the importance of everyday vocabulary instruction in the classroom. Teachers will walk away with the tools on how to choose vocabulary that is worth teaching explicitly. We will review instructional strategies to support students when they encounter unknown words. Lastly, teachers will learn a routine that can used when introducing new vocabulary.
