This course is designed for general education teachers, special education teachers and administrators seeking to enhance their understanding and application of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) strategies.
This full-day session brings together the key elements of Universal Design for Learning into one comprehensive training. Participants will explore practical strategies to design learning environments that meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities while supporting the success of all learners.
Throughout the day, we will focus on UDL’s three core principles:
-
Engagement – how to spark motivation and sustain interest in learning.
-
Representation – how to present knowledge and concepts in multiple ways to support understanding.
-
Action & Expression – how students can demonstrate their learning in varied and meaningful ways.
By the end of this session, participants will walk away with ready-to-use strategies and tools to create classrooms where every learner has access and opportunity to thrive.
Upon registration for the session, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, call Central Registration at 210-370-5671 for assistance during business hours 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
