New to the Woodcock-Johnson V? This hands-on session gives you a clear and practical overview of the WJ V assessment system. We’ll walk through the three key parts—Cognitive, Achievement, and the Virtual Test Library—so you understand what each one measures and how to use them to support student evaluations. You’ll also see what’s new by comparing the WJ V to the previous version (WJ IV) and get a chance to practice administering and scoring a few subtests. This session is designed to boost your confidence and accuracy when using the WJ V in real-life evaluations.
By the end of the session, you’ll be able to:
1. Recognize the main parts of the WJ V and understand what each one is used for.
2. Spot the key differences between the WJ IV and WJ V so you can adjust your evaluation approach.
3. Practice giving and scoring some of the WJ V tests with support, so you feel more confident doing it on your own.
