Virtual: Momentum Matters: Practical Strategies to Increase Engagement for Students With Autism



ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance for families and professionals working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a variety of school settings.
 


Important Session Information:


This virtual session is designed to increase educator knowledge and application of behavior momentum strategies to support students with autism. Participants will examine how intentional task sequencing, instructional pacing, and environmental supports can increase engagement, improve task initiation, and reduce avoidance during instruction. This session will emphasize practical strategies that can be applied in both general education and special education settings to support positive learning outcomes for students with autism.

This session is free to members of the Special Education Cooperative.
