Crossing the Finish Line for ALL Students: Graduation Requirements, Transcripts, and PEIMS Coding



Professional development for school counselors is aligned with the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs and supports work in the four service delivery components: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support.


 


Important Session Information:


This session is FREE to members of the Special Education Cooperative and School Counselor Cooperative.

We encourage LEAs to attend this session as a team that includes the following roles:

  • Special Education Supervisors
  • Transition Coordinators
  • Campus Administrators overseeing academics
  • School Counselors
  • PEIMS Staff

This session will cover key laws, rules, and administrative codes that apply to all Texas public school students. Topics include:

  • Foundation High School Program
  • Endorsements
  • Graduation requirements for students receiving special education services
  • Personal Graduation Plans (PGPs)
  • End-of-Course (EOC) Assessments
  • Individual Graduation Committees (IGCs)
  • Graduation codes and transcript documentation
  • College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR)
  • Texas First Early High School Graduation Program
