This 90-minute training covers Tier 2: Targeted Interventions, which provide supplemental support for the 10-25% of children who are not independently successful with Tier 1 supports alone. The focus is on using small-group, targeted instruction and supports that address a specific skill deficit or unmet need. Topics include identifying at-risk children using data collection, selecting evidence-based interventions (such as social skills groups or self-management techniques), and using progress monitoring to evaluate the effectiveness of the targeted plan.
This is the third session in a four part series. While registration for all parts is not required, it is recommended, as each tier builds upon the foundation of Tier 1 and 2 practices.
