This 90-minute session is dedicated to Tier 3: Intensive Individual Interventions, the most comprehensive and individualized level of support for the 1-5% of children whose challenges persist alongside consistent Tier 1 and Tier 2 support. Participants will learn about the critical process of Function-Based Problem Solving, including collecting data via ABC (Antecedent-Behavior-Consequence) tracking to determine the root cause of challenging behavior. The training will cover developing tailored plans that include explicit instruction of replacement skills, environmental modifications, and the importance of multidisciplinary team collaboration, including families.
This is the fourth session in a four part series. While registration for all parts is not required, it is recommended, as each tier builds upon the foundation of Tier 1 and 2 practices.
