Important Session Information:

Presented by Ayo Jones!

You’ve got the Bluebonnet lesson…
…but your students aren’t all accessing it the same way.

So what do you do when:

  • The text is too complex
  • The vocabulary isn’t sticking
  • Writing tasks lead to shutdown instead of engagement

In this session, you’ll learn how to adapt Bluebonnet reading and writing lessons so all students can access grade-level content while keeping your pacing intact.

We’ll focus on simple, practical scaffolds that support:

  • Vocabulary and comprehension
  • Evidence-based writing
  • Student engagement across levels

You’ll work through a real Bluebonnet lesson and leave with strategies you can use immediately to support students with modified curriculum and diverse reading needs while keeping instruction meaningful and rigorous.

This session is free for members of the special education cooperative.
