In Their Shoes: Teens and the Dating Violence Experience
Step into the world of a teen navigating an unhealthy dating relationship through this interactive, hands-on learning experience. Based on the In Their Shoes curriculum, this immersive session allows participants to experience the complex decisions, barriers, and emotions that teens may face when experiencing dating violence.
Designed for middle and high school counselors, educators and social workers, this workshop builds empathy while strengthening participants' ability to recognize warning signs, respond with trauma-informed practices, and connect students to appropriate support and resources. Participants will leave with practical strategies to foster healthy relationship conversations and enhance prevention and intervention efforts on their campuses.
