Instructional Services to support clients in implementing effective, research-based curriculum practices around the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills.
What happens when learning moves beyond worksheets and into real, tangible experiences? In this interactive session, coordinators and lead teachers will explore how to leverage Learning Alive resources to transform everyday lessons into meaningful, high-impact learning experiences that stick.
Coordinators/Lead Teachers will examine how hands-on materials—both living and non-living—can be intentionally aligned to TEKS, support HQIM, and elevate student engagement across content areas. Through real examples and collaborative planning, attendees will move from simply providing access to Learning Alive materials to designing experiences that promote curiosity, critical thinking, and deeper understanding.
By the end of the session, participants will leave with practical strategies on how to better leverage resources and make them more accessible to their educators and communities.
